Telecentric lenses are designed for measuring with high accuracy
There is no image distortion, no perspective errors and no lens shading. In a telecentric lens, the main light rays remain parallel to the optical axis. That means that the light rays from an object point to the image plane, do not converge or diverge but remain parallel. The centre of the image has identical dimensions and grey values as the corner of the image.
Our portfolio of telecentric lenses features lenses with magnification ranging from as low as 0.038X to as high as 6X. We cater for a variety of sensor formats which also include larger sensors such as 1.1”, 2” and 39MM sensors. To optimize your setup, we advise you to make use of one of our telecentric machine vision lights, such as our coaxial LED spot or
telecentric back light.
Besides our extensive portfolio that is visible on our website, we could offer many more telecentric lenses. Simply share the requirements of your application and we will advise you the most suitable lens and camera for your project.
