Descrizione
The VA-LM12-12MP Fisheye lens is designed for board level cameras or cs-mount cameras in combination with a CS-mount to m12 adapter with a 1/1.8" sensor or smaller. However it does also work with our C-mount cameras in combination with our C-mount to m12 adapter. Please note that the lens is designed as a 185x185x185degree lens. This means that in combination with a 1/1.8" sensor, parts of the sensor are no used (see black part in the image below)
.Product Life Cycle Management
This specific M12 lens does not comply to our standard product life cycle managed portfolio. This M12 lens is used in security applications and is produced in high volumes. However it can happen that the manufacturer suddenly decides to stop production or will have a new version of the lens that has slightly different specifications. We are not informed upfront when this happens and therefore, we can’t manage the life cycle of this product. Because this lens is used in high volume security applications, the pricing of the lens is very attractive. When you design this lens into your product, we recommend that you buy enough stock for the upcoming years, so that the lack of product life cycle management for this product is not an issue for you.
For your information, we do have M12 lenses that do comply to our product life cycle managed portfolio, but these lenses are more expensive.
