- Bancontact
- Payment in advance
- GiroPay
- Sofort online bank transfer
- Visa
- Mastercard
- PayPal
- American Express

Payment on account is possible, however only after a positive credit check from our credit insurance and we charge an additional fee for this.

The price per piece is mentioned for every product. Our industrial cameras, lenses and lighting have very competitive prices. We can offer these competitive prices because:

- Low Margins: Margins per camera are low, we are convinced that every project or product starts with the order of a single camera. By offering a low price for a single piece, VA Imaging creates a win-win situation. This is done by providing an honest price, which makes us believe that you will make an order again. For high quantity orders, it is possible for us to offer a customer specific price.

- Low Overhead costs: VA Imaging can operate on low overhead costs, where costs on every front are minimized and process automation is maximized.

We have a proven track record of product life cycle management. Every vision camera is designed to be available for purchase at least 7 years after the introduction of the camera. We always recommend VA Imaging choice products for new developments, making sure you are using products that are available for many years.

Our products are used by stratup's, scale up's and large companies like Bosch, Siemens, Apple, Google, HP and so on. Check our review page to see real customer reviews.

We charge a fixed handling fee regardless of the size of the order. When ordering in larger quantities, you benefit from a greater price advantage.

The handling costs include:

- import and administration costs (EU only)

- packaging and shipping costs from The Netherlands - our excellent technical support (customer rating of 9,4/10). Standard handling €19

- (3-6 weeks delivery time) Express handling €79

- (0-3 weeks delivery time): All items that are available on express stock located in the Netherlands are immediately shipped directly to you.

European businesses, who are not established in the Netherlands, with a valid VAT number are able to make purchases excluding VAT. During the ordering process, after filling in company details, the final order overview will automatically show the complete order excluded of VAT. When proceeding it will directly allow you to place your order.

We offer a 3-year warranty on all of our area scan cameras, this is because we believe in the quality of our products. Every camera undergoes rigorous testing before it leaves the factory. First, the vision camera is submitted to a 7-day long test, the camera is exposed to extreme hot and cold temperatures. The second and final test is a 72-hour durability examination.

We offer a 2-year warranty on all of our line scan cameras

A standard 1-year warranty applies on all other products.

Product selection

Our industrial cameras can be used in a variety of applications including: agriculture, logistics, factory automation systems, robotics, medical and many more. Thanks to our large camera portfolio, we have the right product for every application. If you wish to consult with one of our account managers about selecting a camera, feel free to use our contact page or check our Applications & Solutions page.

We offer industrial cameras with the following interfaces: USB2, USB3, GigE, 5GigE and 10GigE.

The USB 2.0 camera interface is the cheapest and easiest to use of all 3 options. Nevertheless, bandwidth and cable length are limited. USB2.0 cameras are ideal for applications which require a maximum of 1.3MP at 30fps with a cable length that does not exceed 5 meters.

The USB 3.0 camera interface is one of the fastest interfaces with a high bandwidth. This makes it ideal for high resolution and high-speed imaging. The standard cable length is limited to 4.6 meters however, we offer various Active Highflex USB3 cables to cover a length of 30, 40 or even 50 meter between your USB3 camera and pc. More information about the USB3 Vision camera protocol is available in our blog.

The GigE camera interface is often used in machine vision applications, which require longer cable lengths. We offer GigE cameras with PoE (Power over Ethernet) as well as GigE cameras without PoE. Bandwidth is average (between USB2.0 and USB3.0). This makes it ideal for most machine vision applications. We offer 30MP GigE cameras with low framerates as well as low-resolution cameras with high framerates (> 300fps) both options are available with a GigE interface.

The 5GigE camera interface has higher bandwidth while keeping the advantages of a longer cable that a standard GigE camera has to offer. It covers both a high resolution and/or high speed imaging and the option of a cable length reaching up to 100 meters. The 5GigE cameras are available with the option of with PoE or without PoE.

The 10GigE camera interface offers the possibility to have both a high resolution and high speed imaging with the advantages of a standard GigE camera interface. The 10GigE cameras are 10x faster than regular GigE cameras.

Next to the standard 2D area scan cameras, we offer a variety of industrial cameras in our product portfolio.

Where most of our cameras only capture images in the visible spectrum, our SWIR cameras are capable of capturing images in both the visible spectrum and Short Wave Infrared spectrum (SWIR). These SWIR cameras are designed to capture light wavelengths covering the spectrum between 400nm and 1700nm.

Some vision projects require specific dimensions due to limited space available for the vision system. For these projects, we offer a variety of board level cameras. These single board USB3 cameras are suitable for product developments that require a small form factor and low price. Additionally, our rolling shutter cameras are also available as 90 degree right angled camera. The lens mount is rotated by 90-degrees to limit installation space.

Our 2MP IP camera is a compact vision solution for projects where a live video stream is required. This IP camera has a GigE interface with PoE, the configuration can be done by a web interface.

Are you looking for something more specialized or specific? We offer many options to customize your industrial camera, lens, lighting or water resistant camera housing. Reach you would like to know more about the options that we can offer.

Cameras without I/O are cheaper, due to having less material costs and a shorter production time. All ”-L” version cameras do not have I/O. Cameras with I/O are used, when the camera is triggered by hardware.

When selecting a lens, it is important to consider the requirements of the application.

- C-mount lenses: When using a machine vision application where a high image quality and cost effective solution is required, we recommend using one of our c-mount lenses. The benefits of a c-mount lens include: adjustable aperture / iris and focus, screws to fix the iris and focus, fast and simple assembly and a high light sensitivity.

-M12 lenses: If you are developing a device, where cost and dimensions are of importance, an M12 lens could offer a suitable solution. The total length of a camera with an M12 lens is relatively shorter in comparison to other lenses. When considering using an M12 lens in your application, it is advised to buy one of our C-mount cameras in combination with our C-mount to M12-mount adapter. M12 lenses are used for the smaller sensor size cameras, for example cameras with a 1/3”, 1/2.5”, 1/2.3’, 1/2” or 1/1.8” sensor.

Please reach to use if you would like to know more about Telecentric lenses, AFZ & Varifocal lenses, F-mount lenses, M42 lenses, SWIR lenses and microscope lenses.

An overview of the lens resolution (resolving power) of our C-mount lenses can be found on our Downloads page. To calculate the appropriate focal length or magnification for your industrial camera, contact us for support or make use of our Lenscalculator page.

We feature a variety of cameras each offering a different resolution. The rolling shutter cameras that we currently offer go up to 20 megapixels. The highest resolution global shutter USB3 camera is 44.7MP and for (10)GigE global shutter it is 65MP.

Most of our machine vision cameras have a high quality, light sensitive Sony IMX sensor. As an exclusive distributor of Daheng Imaging in many regions, we benefit from their close business relationship with Sony. This is one of the many reasons that we can offer these cameras for the lowest prices and with quickest delivery times/shortest lead times. Furthermore we offer various industrial cameras with Gpixel and Onsemi sensors.

In general, a rolling-shutter camera is less expensive than a global-shutter camera. When either the camera or object is moving while the image is being taken, a global shutter is advised. With a global shutter camera, (fast) moving objects can be captured without blur in the image. A rolling shutter camera is ideal for stationary vision applications. In-depth information is featured in our Rolling Vs. Global shutter article in our Knowledge Center.
