Why I Joined VA Imaging

What really drew me to VA-Imaging was the energy I felt from the team right from the beginning. There was something exciting about being surrounded by young, driven people who are truly passionate about what they do.

The environment felt ambitious, fast moving, and full of potential - which was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to be part of a place where I could keep learning, grow quickly, and actually contribute to something meaningful.

Since joining, I’ve felt constantly inspired and challenged in the best way. Being part of such a motivated and collaborative team pushes me to do my best every day. It’s exciting to work in a place where everyone shares a clear vision and a strong drive to innovate and move forward.

My Role and Daily Work

As a Sales Application Engineer at VA Imaging, my role is all about connecting people and technology. I work closely with our Account Managers and Customers to make sure our solutions truly fit their needs—not just technically, but also in terms of their workflow and goals.

No two days are ever the same, and that’s something I really enjoy. I usually start the day by checking in on customer questions or requests that came in, then dive into things like reviewing technical requirements or jumping on calls to support the sales team or customers.

A big part of my role is also being that go-to person when customers have questions about how to use our systems. I enjoy helping them find the right solution, and when needed, I pass their feedback on to our suppliers to help improve the product even further.

Since VA Imaging is a fast-growing company, I’m also involved in organizing and updating documentation to keep everything clear and accessible as we expand. Adding new products to our portfolio means constantly learning and adapting and ensuring that both the team and customers have the right information to make the most out of our solutions.

Team Culture at VA Imaging

The team culture at VA Imaging honestly feels like a group of friends working together toward a shared goal. It’s fast-paced and ambitious, but also super supportive. What I really appreciate is how approachable everyone is - you never feel like you’re on your own, no matter how busy things get. There's always someone willing to jump in, give advice, or just listen.

Making Machine Vision Accessible

In my role as a Sales Application Engineer, I see myself as the person who makes complex technology easier to understand and use. Machine vision is amazing technology, but I know it can feel pretty intimidating if you’re not familiar with it. That’s where I try to make a real difference.

I spend a lot of time going through customers’ requirements or problems and then work with them to find the best solution that fits their needs. Whether it’s guiding them through the setup or answering their questions along the way, I want to make the whole process as simple and stress-free as possible.

For me, the best part is seeing that “aha” moment when a customer suddenly gets how the technology works and feels confident using it. Knowing I helped make something complicated feel
easy and useful - that’s what keeps me motivated and excited about my work every day.

A Memorable Team Moment

Honestly, for me, every day working with my team is memorable. They’re not just coworkers - they’re people you can truly count on. Whenever someone needs help, they’re there without hesitation, always offering support with genuine warmth. It’s this kind of caring and togetherness that makes the difference.

Advice for Future Team Members

If you’re thinking about joining VA Imaging, my advice is to come with an open mind and a willingness to learn. This place moves fast, and there’s always something new to take on - but that’s also what makes it exciting.

Be curious, ask lots of questions, and don’t be afraid to share your ideas - even if you’re new. The team genuinely cares about helping each other grow.
