Vision Support Engineer (1st Line support)
In this role you are the first point of contact for customer support questions. You help customers with day-to-day technical issues, think along with them and make sure they get the right at the right time. You do not need to know everything from day one. What matters most is that you enjoy helping people, have an interest in technology and want to grow in a support role for the long term.
You will work from our HQ in Eindhoven (Strijp-S) and stay connected with our teams in Germany, Italy and the US. With colleagues from 16 nationalities, we are truly international - and we love it that way.
Your Daily Tasks
- Be the first point of contact for customer support through our ticketing system
- Help customers with first-line technical and practical questions about our products
- Identify, issues, ask the right questions and make sure customer requests are handled clearly and efficiently
- Solve straightforward support issues yourself and escalate more complex cases to the right colleague when needed
- Keep customers informed about progress and follow up to make sure they are helped properly
- Work closely with the support and sales teams to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Document common questions and solutions and we keep learning and improving as a team
What do we expect from you?
- Vocational level (MBO) in IT or Electronics, gained through education and/ or experience
- You enjoy helping customers and solving practical problems
- You have a genuine interest in support work and see your future in a customer-focused support role
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written
- A structured and proactive way of working
- You are eager to learn and not afraid to ask questions
- Affinity with technology is important; experience in machine vision is a plus, but not required
- A positive, service-minded attitude and a team-player mindset
