The IMX226 can achieve a maximum frame rate of 32fps at full resolution for USB3 interface and 9 fps for GigE interface. The Sony IMX226 image sensor belongs to the Sony Starvis Generation.  On the same generation you can find models with resolutions 5MP (IMX335), and 6.3MP (IMX178).
