VA Imaging, located at Strijp-S in Eindhoven, is a young innovative company specialized in the import and export of industrial cameras, lenses and lighting for the B2B market. Our products are applied for visualization, automation and quality inspection. We sell worldwide and have offices in the Netherlands, Germany and America.

At VA Imaging, we focus on providing solutions that go beyond just products they are the "eyes" of machines. Our industrial cameras are used across a wide range of applications, ensuring that every working day brings a new challenge. With more than 30 employees including 14 different nationalities, the main language inthe office is English. You will work in our sales department, marketing department or HR department. Together with our colleagues, you will work on matters such as online marketing, customer acquisition and lead generation, recruitment. We give you space to grow and value your ideas and input. You will also carry out your research. We offer you an instructive internship with a young and enthusiastic international team with good supervision, social drinks and plenty of time to work on your research.

Below you will find the internship assignments available from January 2026. After consultation, you can also start on an earlier or later date.

Assignment 1: Marketing Strategy for 3D Cameras (Marketing)

VA Imaging is a leading company in the sale of industrial cameras. To expand our product range, we want to start selling 3D cameras as well. For this assignment, you will develop an integrated marketing strategy that will allow us to successfully introduce 3D cameras, determine which region to focus on, how to attract new customers and how to increase revenue.

Assignment 2: Marketing Plan Embedded Cameras (Marketing)

VA Imaging is exploring the market for embedded cameras in collaboration with a German manufacturer. Your task is to conduct a thorough analysis of this market: what are the key trends, technological developments, and growth opportunities? Based on this analysis, you will develop a practical marketing plan to enable VA Imaging to successfully launch embedded cameras. Your plan should outline the ideal target audiences, suitable marketing channels, and concrete actions to boost sales and lead generation. Be sure to also consider SEO strategies and how to rank for relevant keywords to increase VA Imaging's online visibility. The result should be a clear and actionable plan that can be directly used to support the business case.

Assignment 3: Onboarding New Employees - E-Learning System (HR)

VA Imaging currently uses iSpring to develop e-learning modules for onboarding and internal training. Although the foundation is in place, there is significant room for improvement in the speed, scalability, and effectiveness of the learning process. The challenge lies in onboarding and training a growing number of employees in a short period of time without compromising learning quality or engagement. The goal is to develop a concrete (strategic and operational) approach to use iSpring more effectively and efficiently for onboarding and training. This should enable more employees to be trained faster and better, while also allowing us to continuously measure the quality of the learning process.

Assignment 4: Effectiveness of Digital Channels for Generating Quality Leads (Sales)

In today's digital economy, companies heavily rely in achieving revenue growth. While generating a large number of leads is often relatively easy through various platforms, acquiring quality leads (with a high conversion potential) proves to be a greater challenge. You will investigate which digital marketing channels are most effective for generating quality leads in the machine vision industry.
