“When the company was founded in 2017, it all started with a simple idea: What if buying professional imaging hardware felt as effortless as shopping online for your favorite gadget? We wanted to transform the B2B imaging market with a B2C approach. Launching VA Imaging (originally GeT Cameras), the goal was clear: Introduce transparency, affordability and innovation to the machine vision industry. From that point it has always been about delivering a smooth purchasing experience to professional buyers.

As others followed our lead, we continued to stand apart by focusing on offering customized solutions even for low-quantity orders and still unique in low prices and a great customer experience. Our growing commitment to offering more than just cameras also deserves a company name that reflects our business and vision. That is why our trade name has been rebranding from GeT Cameras to VA Imaging in December 2024. Our focus on fostering strong customer relationships and delivering quick, effective support has been at the core of everything we do. We still believe that every day, our team is building trust and strong customer relationship, this is noticeable by our fast response times.

Today, VA Imaging provides service to large-scale machine builders, startups, and innovators with imaging solutions that meet both standard and highly customized needs. For vision engineers and professionals, we continue delivering the option to create your own quotation without an account and place an order without the need of an account manager. For all our customers who appreciate a personal approach and advice, our team of machine vision experts are ready to help you finding the imaging solution that your project needs. Our rebranding from GeT Cameras to VA Imaging in 2024 reflects our expanding commitment to Vision & Automation. Together, we are incredibly proud to see how VA Imaging is becoming THE trusted partner for machine vision applications around the world.

Our evolution did not stop with expanding our product portfolio. From the beginning, we saw opportunities to develop products that were missing from the market. One of our first developments was our own C-mount to M12 adapter, followed by waterproof camera enclosures and, later, our own machine vision lighting solutions.

In 2026, we took the next step by bringing product development and manufacturing in the Netherlands with VA Manufacturing. As part of the VA Group, VA Manufacturing develops and manufactures industrial imaging products, including machine vision lighting and cameras, while also providing assembly services for customized imaging solutions.

This allows us to combine what we learn directly from customers with our own product development. When the market needs a solution that does not yet exist, we can investigate, develop and manufacture ourselves; while keeping the focus on practical, reliable and cost-effective imaging solutions.

Our development process starts with a real application or market need. We investigate the available solutions, define product requirements and develop prototypes before moving towards production. By combining product development with the market knowledge of VA Imaging, we can create practical solutions for imaging challenges that are not always addressed by standard products.

Not every imaging application can be solved with an off-the-shelf component. In addition to product development, we provide assembly services that can bring cameras, lenses, enclosures and other components together into a solution prepared for the customer’s application.

Depending on the project, this can include mounting a camera inside a protective enclosure, installing the lens and completing the required assembly and calibration. The result is a more complete imaging solution that reduces the integration work required by the customer.

It was easy to integrate and USB3 Vision interface allowed our software team to get started quickly. The sales guy was very helpful with selecting the hardware for us. We are happy that we selected the USB3 board-level camera instead of a Mipi embedded vision camera as we didn't require now the additional driver development.

GeT Cameras in Germany made some photo's of our products to show the performance of their cameras and they looked perfect. Recently we purchased a camera with lens, and LED lights. Recently we purchased a camera with lens, and LED lights. We are not experienced with machine vision but the installation worked out fine. After installation on our laboratory we were surprised again of the high quality of the photos and the versatility of this system. (options in Galaxy viewer and integration in Python. Recently we had an issue with the software and the customer support was able to give us the relevant information to fix it within one day. The next time we need a camera we will not be looking to other suppliers but contact GeT Cameras immediately.

First I was a little bit sceptic about buying online industrial cameras. It’s a critical part for our machine. For a new product development there was a lot of price pressure. Unfortunately they don't offer a loan service, but I decided to try it. I had the cameras in house within 2 weeks and connection was easy. The SDK looks like the SDK from Basler so I felt directly comfortable with it. The camera and lens was a perfect match and now I'm able to read small DMC codes on large products with just a single camera.

I was using cameras from a German competitor, but I was not happy with the support. They contacted me and we where able to select a camera with the same sensor.
