20+ years Experience in machine vision

Introduction

Three words that best describe me and my approach to business are passionate, ambitious, and caring. Passion drives me to explore new solutions and technologies, ambition pushes me to innovate and expand, and caring ensures that my team, clients, and partners are always at the center of everything we do.

These principles have guided the growth of VA Imaging from its early days in 2017 as a two-person startup to a global company with over 35 employees representing more than 15 nationalities, operating across five offices in the U.S.A., the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, and France.

Our mission has always been to help clients achieve their vision through innovative machine vision solutions, while also fostering an environment where our team can thrive, grow, and deliver meaningful value.

Over the past eight years, we have stayed true to our founding promise: to make the machine vision industry more transparent, accessible, and affordable, without compromising on quality or innovation.

    • Executive MBA, Mannheim Business School
    • B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Fontys University of Applied Science
    • Nima Sales, NCOI Business School

Educational Background

I have been fascinated by technology from a young age. This led me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Electrical & Electronics Engineering at Fontys University of Applied Sciences, where I built a solid foundation in both theoretical and practical engineering.

A year after graduation, I earned a NIMA Sales Certification, which allowed me to bridge technical expertise with business strategy. In 2017, I completed an Executive MBA at Mannheim Business School, an experience that significantly shaped my approach to leadership, strategic thinking, and organizational growth.

Combined with hands-on professional experience over the years, these academic achievements have equipped me with the skills and insight to guide VA Imaging through sustained growth, international expansion, and daily operational excellence.

Building Va-Imaging

From the beginning, the goal was simple: to deliver real solutions for our clients while redefining the industrial imaging experience. From the beginning, we focused on understanding client needs, providing tailored solutions, and continuously improving processes to create value that extends beyond the product itself.

Over time, our team has evolved into a dynamic, international organization. We have cultivated a culture that prioritizes innovation, collaboration, and inclusion, recognizing that diverse perspectives drive creativity and enable agility as the company scales.

To remain adaptable in a rapidly changing market, we maintain a lean organizational structure, embrace fast, informed decision-making, and foster an entrepreneurial mindset across every team and project. This approach allows us to respond quickly to industry shifts, adopt emerging technologies, and consistently deliver outstanding results for our clients.

Achievements

Looking back, the advice I would give my younger self is simple: “Be patient.” True growth is built through perseverance, dedication, and continuous learning; lessons that have guided every stage of my career.

Some of the accomplishments I am most proud of include:

  • Transforming VA Imaging from a two-person startup into a global company with offices across multiple countries.
  • Cultivating a team culture that emphasizes diversity, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Establishing a reputation for transparency, innovation, and high-quality machine vision solutions in a competitive industry.
  • Successfully balancing sustained business growth with exceptional customer service and rapid response times.

Leading VA Imaging to receive four consecutive FD Gazellen Awards, recognizing exceptional revenue growth, along with other industry accolades highlighting our innovation and impact in the machine vision sector.

Looking Ahead

The next chapter for VA Imaging will focus on continued innovation, global expansion, and delivering even greater value to our clients, while staying true to the principles that have guided us from the start: quality, transparency, and exceptional service.

I am committed to maintaining a culture that empowers our team, nurtures creativity, and encourages collaboration, ensuring that we continue to deliver solutions that are reliable, innovative, and client-focused.

My ultimate goal is simple: to make sure that every client, partner, and team member experiences the dedication, expertise, and value that VA Imaging represents.

“It’s Your Vision, Our Imaging.”

More than just a phrase, this motto is the foundation of everything we do, guiding our decisions, inspiring our team, and shaping the future of VA Imaging.
